I don't see how Mel can't be in it, unless it's another reboot, and not sequel

Ledger who had been rumoured to be lined up for it is obviously out, so who could be the new Max? or max's son more likely

There isn't anything about Mad Max 4 in IMDb. I have heard about the possibility of a fourth film after the success of Beyond Thunderdome. I have also heard of a remake of the first movie, but I don't know how well the remake would go over.

I think the main problem now is financing and finding a studio to distribute it.

Better not be a reboot, the first two are original, brilliant classic Aussie movies.

Lets leave it at that
