Street Cameras At Main Intersections "Big Brother Watching?"

They put a couple of red light cams near me. I have heard of a few people that got tickets for going through yellow lights and they can't do anything about it. The last time I checked, it wasn't against the law to go through a yellow light. The yellow time has been shortened too. When I go through them, I concentrate more on the color of the light than the traffic around me. When the light turns yellow, I slam on the brakes and I see most people doing the same thing. I think they cause more accidents than they prevent. They are just using them for revenue which I feel is wrong.
