I have a question i am really hoping someone here on ats can answer for me. Today i drove my children to the Mississippi coast and we walked the beach like normal and noticed there seems to be less water. You can now walk a lot further out than you could just a few months ago. There were patches of water but the sand now extends further out as if there is less water in the Gulf now. My son thought there was going to be tsunami... but we did not see it recede. It was just a lot more beach, beached dead fish, Bass i think. What could cause this???
With all the crazy weather it does have me concerned. Thanks in advance for any answers. All are more than welcome, and with much appreciation.

To me it sounds like low tide, did you have a tide guide with you? I'm sure someone on this site has one for your area and tell you, or you can look up the tidal times for when you were there "online".
