At least half of the times I try to log in,
I get an error message.

Upon refreshing or going back and clicking
"log in", it is usually ok. I don't know the message
off hand, but it mentions cookies and all that.

However I am getting this from multiple computers.
With the same odds. I am beginning to think this may
be on the ATS side.

I am wondering if anyone else is getting this problem.

I read about phishing scams. Is that what this coud be?!

Also to the ATS techs/mods, is this something you are seeing
or getting feedback on or working on.

Simple, the government does not want your particular point of view spreading to other people and as such it is hampering you in a mildly annoying fashion in the hopes that you will get ticked off and give up trying to spread your vile thoughts! I dont think your views are vile, but the government seems to.

Yip. tried that. Doesn't seem to effect it.
Rather bothersome because, I'm not
sure how serious this is. Considering
the content and discussion on this site,
it easy for one to think they are being
watched or under investigation. Hahaha.
Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the heads up.. This certainly
will not stop me from talking on here.
Although I may see a red dot in my mailbox
tomorrow.

I get exactly the same problem. First time I load the log-in page it comes up with a complaint saying that my browser does not support cookies or some thing like that. Then I refresh the page and it works fine just like its meant to.

I think its either a ATS end problem or that Europe may be on the right lines (if not exactly correct).

Yes, I get that too - a minor inconvenience, but a little annoying nonetheless.

Funny though - I've only had it since the last firefox upgrade.

I made sure I used the same settings.

I also get this with a couple of other sites where I have username and password saved, so it seems to me it might be a browser issue.

I dont have any usernames or passwords saved due to the fact that I spend a lot of time in an unsecure enviroment (with people who would love to cause havoc in my guise).

I still get the cookie error problem though.

I do get this error with Explorer and Firefox, with rather similar
results. I am getting in the habbit of changing passwords more often
to stay safe.

It may very well be a browser issue then.

I tried clearing my cache, and cookies to no avail.

I think it may be something to do with browsers..... but other than that I have no idea.

If there's no fix, I'll just live with it - like I said, a minor inconvenience.

I've started getting this too in the last few days. I'm also running the latest Firefox which is set to delete all cookies on closing.

What I've found is that just refreshing the page clears it up every time and I can log in.

It's a one click fix so, as Budski says, it's just a minor irritation - nothing more.

Peace,

MGGG

I don't believe this to be a browser issue as there are people here using different versions of firefox and IE and I'm using google chrome and I get the problem. I do not believe the problem to be browser related.

This has been happening for a long time for me and I just put up with it because as said, its just one click on the "log in" button and the page reloads with pre-recorded log in info in place.
Strange thing is, it actually didn't happen that way, just once, the other day, when I came back to the log in page after having been away from the computer for hours, all the info popped up right away and no second click was necessary.
Go figure. (Firefox)
