i have not. this is pretty scary though if it really happins...

I doubt terrorists want to do something as complex as making flies into weapons. But if they do...i'd say stock up on a lot of bug spray.

it seems like "everything" will be blamed on terrorists soon.....not that it isn't possible...but still...

first it was forest fires, nows bugs...what's next?

Making flies into weapons? Do you think terrrorists have that kind of technology?

It's called fear tactics. Inject the entire nation and world with fear and the people will beg for security, whatever that means.

I had actually though about using bugs as things of terror, but in a different way. And actually, it wouldn't really be terror, but economic destruction. If several bugs and animals were released here in the US, where they have no predators and feed on crops, it could be devistating to the US. If they were somehow resistant to common pesticides, then we would have a whole new problem on our hands.

Don't discount the bug thread, it takes a lot less technology to use them as an attack then you might think.
