If this report is confirmed, it would be one of the most important scientific discoveries of all times. However, I think they may be making a stretch
to say that primitive life exists simply because they have found methane on Mars. It seems to me like they are making a conclusion based upon
eliminating other sources of the gas, such as volcanoes and other geological activity. The way to be sure and really prove the existence of life on
Mars is to detect the organisms themselves!
