I have been researching Night vision goggles and attachments for
camcorders. They are certainly very pricey and out of my league
purchasing. Does anyone know of any rental companies?!
I will be in Nevada in a few months and was hoping to use them.
Thanks,
Happy New Year!
Cluck

I have no frame of reference to know this, but maybe try a paintball company.

Depends on what you will be using it for.
If you need high definition equipment it would be worth renting. If you want close range observation, it might be worth it to invest in some of your own less costly gear.
Sporting goods stores and hunting websites actually have some good quality suppliers. You might also look into some paranormal groups in the area you are going to and see if they will rent to you. Many of them have expensive equipment and little income.

What ya gonna be doin?

I have a trip out to Vegas in a few months and we figured we would
go camp up at Area 51. I researched and found a place with the help
of quite a few people with experience. I thought night vision would be
a great tool to have. Just for the heck of it. I looked online and saw
stuff going for thousands though. I was looking for something to hook
up to a camcorder. Any experience in this? I will certainly check more
spots. Cabela's was way too pricey. I figured renting as an option.
Thanks for responding.

Not sure about attachments for camcorders and such, but you can pick up These US Navy Issue Night Vision Binoculars for a Buy-It-Now price of $95.00.
