Shoes for Israel

Following on from the shoe-throwing protest at President Bush and the ensuing inspired footwear intifada calling for old shoes to be sent to the whitehouse as an insult by concerned citizens on behalf of the Iraqi people:

Hope it gets the attention it deserves...

Maybe it would be more productive if Arabians around the world would stand up and state their position on the issue. And then maybe they could help whichever side they support.

What else can we ordinary folk do to show our disgust? We can't influence the political leaders directly, and very many of us don't have the chance to take action like Rachel Corrie and Tom Hurndall

Its a statement...one that will cost you a pair of old shoes and postage costs to an Israeli embassy in your counrty
