What you didnt see

I saw On CNN where the president came to Arkansas, to brag about creating 50 jobs.


What they did not mention was the protesters asking about the several hundred jobs that were lost when two compinies went south and were given tax breaks to do so. He ignored them and did not answer.


None of this was shown on CNN.

I wonder why?

That's the beauty of manipulating information.
If you know most people don't seek out more information, you can easily tell them selective tibits of the truth, of course, only that which furthers the cause.

This is the flip side of censorship.

They did not lie in their broadcast, but STILL made things appear to be totally different than they were.

Misrepresentation is what the media does on a regular basis, but people think that because the carefully arranged "facts" are true, that their impressions must be correct.

As if the impression they got from the "story" is of their own making and will thusly create opinion.

This is how they sway a people Big Brother.

This should be a wake up for those that say how the media is bush-bashing, this would have been a perfect spot.....All they had to do was show the protesters but didnt.

They made it appear that he was welcomed with open arms but that was not the case.

This should come as no surprise. And, it has nothing to do with Bush.
It is a given that if you are watching a news show, just about any news show, there is a slant. Same goes for most newspapers and magazines.
Nothing you see is straight news, it's been edited for time and content. IMHO, you pretty much have to view an event to know what happened. Put's us citizens at a distinct disadvantage, I'd say.

(which isn't to say that the guy in the oval office, whoever it may be, doesn't further distort a given story)
