Germany as we all know was responsible for attempting to eradicate the jews from europe through death camps, and forced emigration. Germany was actively engaged in promoting Palestine as a destination for Jews and negotiated with the British to this ends (primarily prior tot he war and most obviously afterwards).

Germany is the number one supported of Israel outside the US and its number one trading partner.

It is clear that Germany still maintains this Nazi policy in its outspoken promotion of palestine as a destination for the jews, as a promoter of the occupation of the remaining palestinian lands, as the number one backer of the continued use of ghettos like those in poland to incarcerate the palestinians in open air prisons - modelled directly on those seen in ww2 such as krakov.

How can the germans maintain any self respect when they continue to uphold such barbaric nazi ideals ? How can Germany continue its promotion of jewish territory outside its borders to free itself of the Jewish question - but most worryingly how can the Germans continue to support such crimes against humanity occurring in the occupied territories as were perpetrated by themselves in one of the most brutal crimes against people ever.

Germany has a special place in NOT supporting the oppression of the Palestinian people - and this is exaclty what they are doing, they have simply switched their oppression from the jews to the arabs - another german sponsored holocaust.

Where is the german shame ?

Barking up the wrong tree. Germany never told the Palestinians to surround themselves with guys whose only agenda is to destroy Israel. If anybody should feel shame it should be the people who elected Hamas into power because Hamas has done nothing but caused more pain for the Palestinians.

Just amazing how everyone should feel shame for their actions in Palestine, EXCEPT for the Palestinians who openly kill their own civilian population by suicide bombing amongst themselves and have Israel target them by launching rockets amongst them. But this is seen as brave acts of defiance on the part of the Palestinians. Simply amazing!

strangely off topic ? A typical extremist militant american stand - steeped in political ignorance and more worrying echoing the fascist US propaganda line.

What could one expect from a supporter of the most militant, aggressive and globally ignorant nation as the US.

The point remains, that Germany (along with the morally defunct US) are both supporters of the number one violater of global human rights, number one commiter of crimes against humanity and the most oppressive regieme on earth.

Im sure nazi germans saw no problems with their actions just as you see no problems now - is is not as though you will be judged by modern civil society - you already have.

They don´t. Germany does not encourage emigration of Jews from Germany. In fact, the Jewish community is actively supported. Germany however has the moral obligation to support the state of Israel and does not have the luxury to be neutral on the jewish question. That does NOT make Germany responsible for the Israeli-Arab conflict. As was said, you are barking up the wrong tree.

Why after all the details you mention do you only look for a people to be ashamed, if you was half as intelligent as you so often attempt to make out you would not finish with such a poor closing comment.

By raising such sensitive issues you should be looking to resolve them, not adding idol nonsense to the matter.

You my friend should be ashamed as your attempts to belittle other nations is so often and so clearly just a shame upon yourself. People like yourself make me sick, your posts only show a clear superiority complex although based around very interesting subjects.

Where is your shame?

Bingo. The only way that Israel will find itself morally compelled to end this whole pattern is for diaspora Jews to force them to by cutting off the funds.

Frankly, I think personal accountability...real personal...will end the rockets. If the west can go through a series of biogeneticists suffering mysterious and untimely deaths, then why not the Palestinian rocket-making industry?

But lonestar nailed it...Germany does not have that luxury.

As people point out a German politician will open themselves up to all kinds of criticism if don’t agree to support Israel. And why pick on Germany anyway? (Apart from sensationalist and utterly useless point making).
I'm from England, others are from Russia, France, U.S ect. In fact pretty much everyone and their mother supports arms sales, plus trade with Israel.
It’s not just the white men either, China, India, most African states (and not to omit the blessed Egyptians) support Israel.
There are (somewhat muted) criticisms towards Israel’s barbaric behaviour; utterly counter productive to itself anyway unless they intend to support Palestinian extremism, and build craters in their reputation. But that’s as far as the criticism goes.
Without the support of Arab states the Israeli concrete cage would either have been impossible to build; or at best (at least) a lot harder to construct, maintain and operate.

I think that the jews should be held accountable for their own actions. I cannot believe someone would be shameless enough to blame Germany for the slaughter that the Jews are carrying out....?

This is the most insane rationalisation ever!

You cannot blame someone who lives on the other side of the globe when you're the one pulling the trigger.
