Using Firefox 3.0.5

At the end of the address bar is a down arrow. Clicking on it shows recently accessed sites. Clearing Private Data does not clear out these entries, thus leaving tracks that you may not want visible.

How do you clear these entries?

Are there stars next to these entries? If so, they're bookmarks. Using the clear private data feature with everything checked, they're the only thing that remain behind.

Yes, there are stars next to them.

So you say they are bookmarks? If so, that is good news. They seem to be recently accessed bookmarks.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, I just confirmed that.

I had a list of addresses, some with a star, some without, after clearing the history only the bookmarked sites remained.
