How can the government be so greedy that it would help steal that much gold? I get angry when I hear that the government does things like this. I would not consider the treasure hunter an amateur. The government had to steal it from the person that found it which makes the government the amateur.

You do realize this happened in the 70s, right?

Yes I do know that is happened in the 70's. That does not change the fact that it is wrong what they did.
