Yes i kind of did word it quite badly. sorry.

The street the school/mosque is on is full of takeaways and closed down businesses and is really scruffy. Its been a regeneration area for 7 years or so but it is just a really dirty place.

Im not religious myself so I wouldnt favour one school over another based on faith. But I wouldnt send my kids somewhere they probably wouldnt fit in.

That's a completely different idea. If any faith school requires that people be of that faith to teach the faith, then that's understandable. It's not the same thing happening in what the article states.

The school in the article is discriminating based on race. If they want only Jewish people attending the school, then they're not basing it on something that is required to teach or learn at the school. You can't teach race, so why is it important to be of that race to learn or teach?

The 'caretaker' or 'dinner ladies' dont have to be of that faith to do there job.

All im saying is there all as bad as each other.
