From NBC's Adam Verdugo In an interview with MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell this afternoon, Lynne Cheney revealed that while researching the Cheney family tree for her new book "Blue Skies, No Fences," she discovered that the Vice President Cheney and Barack Obama are related -- albeit distantly. According to Mrs. Cheney, the two politicians are eighth cousins.

um...what concerns would this ever raise? Do you know your eighth cousin? let alone your 3rd or 4th? People are trying way too hard to force Obama into being a bad guy. This is one pathetic story, even for MSNBC.

Well... I believe the implications speak for themselves. I mean, bloodlines and ruling elite and all. Obama isn't as much an outsider as we're led to believe.
