I would really like people whove studied the case to read the entire thread, and then reply to this as its bugging my mind like crazy.

I do not watch sci fi, movies etc... so i have a very open mind.

I believe in ufos... not just the term ufos but that some of them are intelligently controlled by people who do not originate from the same place as us.

I do believe that there are many other extra terrestrial species, many whom have visited earth for a long time and still do.

I myself have had an experience, and im pretty sure had many more sub consciously (i am looking into getting hypnotic regression treatment)l

The Billy Meier case fascinates me, ive been looking into it seriously for well over a year now, from the history of his private life to the contacts to the `teachings of jmanuel` to the `photos` etc etc.

I would love to imagine that there is a pleadian nation who are concerned for us, originated from the same place and had the same ancestors as us, but managed to evolve way way before us... this would be massive encouragment and would make them big role models for humanity if it were true.

I have given his story the benefit of the doubt and looked into it, and even though im still more on the `hoping it is true` side... some things dont add up.

Apparently after 20 years of claiming to be from the `pleadian` star system. in 1995 after hundreds of visits they admitted they are plejaren which is many light years beyond the pleadies, with an excuse of which doesnt make sense nor is very convincing.
What annoys me is how can you take seriously people who are misleading about where they come from.

Next, Billy Meier claims and this is what causes hostility even in the ufo world.. that he is the only person in contact with pleadians, isnt that arrogant, and if you follow channelings and other contactees sensibly (not gullibly), youll find he is NOT the only one.

Next, the pictures.. he admited the ones of ascot werent real and were from some tv show but claimed the m.i.b swaped them around, and he had amnesia and couldnt remember, im being serious look it up its one of the most exagurated excuses ive ever heard.

As a youth he had many serious mental issues, deserting school, deserting army being locked away countless times, his name isnt even `billy` its a nickname off his favourite cowboy `billy the kid`.

Im sorry to sound like a `billy meier` basher but im not, in fact i really hope the story is true.. i for one find it extremely uplifting and i think the pleadian beamships if they are real are amongst the most beautiful crafts ive seen.

However, im really not buying some of his excuses..........plus the icing on the cake are `figu` his origanisation selling his dvd and pictures at ridiculous profit rolling prices... how can these be genuine if they are really spreading the world of a highly evolved and spiritual race wanting to `help us` .. why should we have to pay for that info!

This isnt a typical `were the pics hoaxed` thread.. this is a serious thread for somebody who wants to believe, but cant.. because theres no `oh well he was honest about some but some bits he faked to make money`, i dont buy that excuse, once a fraud always a fraud.. either the entire saga is genuine or its not... theres no two ways about it.

So please, if youve studied his case please reply to a very confused young man

thanks

The real question is: Given all of the bits you've listed (and all the stuff you've not) that go against Meier's claims...why do you still have a want to believe him?

Why limit yourself to Meier? Why not stick with Santa Claus too? That's not a jab at you, it's a comparable example of what you're saying.

You hit upon something in your post that I wanted to touch on, a little off topic, maybe... But since it was part of your OP, I feel it's appropriate for me to be able to express...

You said that his group are selling the DVDs and books and such for a lot of profit.

One thing that I will state towards this kind of thing, and maybe it's a bit altruistic of me, but still something I have thought a lot over the years, is, if you truly have wisdom or information that will help out humanity, WHY profit from it?

Give it away.

That includes channelers, UFOlogists, the scientific community, people who have invented alternative energies, etc.

Why?

Well, let's just take the example of the alternative energies inventors. Say that someone invents a means for electricity to be generated efficiently and without needing much input. Can't think of the term offhand lol sorry.

Anyhow.. Let's say that you have created a means for doing this. And then you decide, "Hey let's make some money! I could make a killing!" And yet, this product/process would be able to advance human kind in ways you'd never have been able to think of. Imagine having uber cheap or free electricity!

But because of greed, you end up selling the technology to the highest bidder.. likely a corporation who profits in a big way from the status quo of electrical generating means. And they will bury your tech into the annals of history, never to be seen again...

And yet.. had you taken your schematics and placed them on the internet, for free, for people to work with and improve upon, you'd have made one major difference in the advancement of human kind.

Do you see what i am getting at?

To me.. anyone who has good motives behind what they are doing, be it billy meier pushing out his message from the aliens, scientists working on technologies or projects that will save lives or save hardships in the world, etc etc... If they truly wanted to make a difference, put it on the internet, for free, and allow everyone to benefit.

If you do otherwise, you're only perpetuating the system that has caused the hardships to begin with.

Whenever I see people "channeling", for example, the first thing I do is ask, how much are they charging for their info? Are they charging? If they are, I won't even go near enough to hear their words. I know already they're not channeling some "higher beings".. .they're only channeling money into their wallets.

Just my take on things. As to meier, I guess i would fit him into this category. At the very least, his followers.

As someone who does profit (however minimal) off his story, I struggle with this all the time. I usually cave to guilt and undersell, but sell nonetheless. The argument for making a buck is that I put a lot of time and creativity into what I do (writing a book or making a movie, for example.) Why shouldn't I be compensated? The materials cost money. The production costs money. We have to friggen live and eat and find shelter right? So why should it be any different between someone who has invented a free energy devise and a baseball player?

Personally, I do put the basic concepts out there for free but if you want the turkey with the stuffing you gotta buy it.

And if we're talking purely something physically beneficial to humankind like free energy, let's be realistic here: Somebody is going to make money off of it. Oil companies will lobby for regulations or to kill it altogether. They will find a way to insinuate themselves and control the invention. They aren't about to fold and call it quits.

I'm pretty sure in the realm of patents there is a statute of limitations on exclusivity because no one is allowed to have a monopoly. Would there be anything wrong with inventing the device, selling it, and when the statute is up, putting the schematics online for free?

Everyone wins.

Of course this is purely hypothetical and a bad example. Free energy devices would be the death of us. Imagine if you didn't have to work for energy? Seriously, think what that would do to this already lethargic society of narcissists. And then on top of that, of course, is the fact that someone could use it to blow up the earth for evil hand-rubbing reasons.

Hot diggity. Another Billy Meier thread. What it boils down to is this:

You can believe anything you want to. Isn't that great? If you think the evidence is good enough to prove the case in your mind, then that's all you need. If you want to argue with or ignore other people who point out possible discrepancies or weaknesses in the story, you can do that, too. Nobody can force you not to believe in it, if it makes you happy.

But then you have to ask yourself, "So now what?" Try to convince others? Good luck with that. Go to see Billy, himself, and give him money? If that's what you want to do, go ahead.

Will it matter to me or the rest of the world? Nope. Not the least little bit.

ask your self this.if it is a hoax why would he go so far with this case when a lot of people have a hard time accepting the material. If your going to convince people of your contacts wouldn't you only go so far with elaborating a hoax. The dinosaur pics for instance, would'nt he have been smart enough not to make those photos in the first place since he would inevitably loose credibility? His thousands of pages of contact notes remain pretty obscure even in the UFO field but yet he continues on perpetuating a hoax?

The way I see it, you basicly have all the information to make a reasonable judgement. There's no need to be confused about it, you just need to figure out what it all adds up to. For me it was somewhat of a similar path of discovery and the first roadblock I hit was the claim by Meier that he's the only one in contact with ETs. Not just Pleiadian or Plejaren as he called them later on, no, every contactee is false in some way according to him. After a lot of thought I came to the conclusion that he simply is that how he treats others.

From my personal experience with UFO 'Believing' and Billy Meier. I got onto the BM band wagon in the early 1990’s when there was still unshakable belief in the guy with the amazing UFO photo’s and video. But, I think there has been enough excellent work on here to discredit his ‘work’ for me to think he’s a fraud. But, I also think that we the ones that desperately want to believe are fooling ourselves. Yes, we are primed disillusioned sheeple that want to believe in an external entity coming to help us make sense of our crap NWO manipulated/controlled lives. I still want to believe but until I’m personally abducted or see a BM type craft with a grey walking towards me, I’m in the non-believing camp at the moment.

Your search for the UFO-ET is distracting you from the real threat that is very provable (no shaky lights in the sky!).
