Absolute Zero and Evolution

Topic started on 20-11-2008 @ 03:26 PM by imd12c4funn

Absoulte zero is a measure of thermodynamic temperature using the Rankine scale.
0 °R (Rankine) is equal to
−273.15 °C (Celsius) and to
−459.67 °F (Fahrenheit)
en.wikipedia.org...

Absolute zero is defined:
where absolute zero, the theoretical absence of all thermal energy

en.wikipedia.org...
What is absolute zero? see link below:
www.pa.msu.edu...

Note that;
at absolute zero all molecular motion does not cease but does not have enough energy for transference to other systems, it is therefore correct to say that at 0 kelvin molecular energy is minimal.

and that absolute zero is not absolute at all, tather;
By international agreement, absolute zero is defined as precisely 0 K on the Kelvin scale,

en.wikipedia.org...

Therefor, Absolute Zero is an agreement. Moreover, the word cold in the useage of temperature is defined;
Cold \Cold\ (k[=o]ld), a. [Compar. Colder (-[~e]r); superl.
Coldest.] [OE. cold, cald, AS. cald, ceald; akin to OS.
kald, D. koud, G. kalt, Icel. kaldr, Dan. kold, Sw. kall,
Goth. kalds, L. gelu frost, gelare to freeze. Orig. p. p. of
AS. calan to be cold, Icel. kala to freeze. Cf. Cool, a.,
Chill, n.]
1. Deprived of heat, or having a low temperature; not warm or
hot; gelid; frigid. "The snowy top of cold Olympis."
--Milton.
[1913 Webster]

2. Lacking the sensation of warmth; suffering from the
absence of heat; chilly; shivering; as, to be cold.
[1913 Webster]

(Definition found at www.dict.org)

So cold is lack of or deprevation of warmth, heat, sensation of warmth.

So, Cold is a word used to describe the lack of something rather than a tangible thing.

Heat cannot be measured below asbsolute 0. Does this mean that nothing exists below absolute 0?

This can be said about darkness as well. A word to describe the lack of light, rather than a real or tangible thing.

Without light, there is no darkness. Can we measure darkness? Does absolute darness get darker?

With this in mind, it can be said that evolution doesn't exist.

It is just a word to describe the lack of something.
What lacking thing is it describing?
The lack of proof that there is a Creator.

If evolution is a concept of man, it is the concept that, without a creator, life evolves. So, without a creator, there can be no evolution because evolution is a word man invented to describe lack of a Creator.

So, the absense of a Creator, is Evolution.

I suggest that If there is no Creator, there is no Evolution. for evolution is the absense of Creation. If Creation doesn't exist, it is absent.

Creation must exist to have absense of it. If it were nonexistent, Evolution could not exist as well. there would be no life, no universes, no anything.

If only evolution existed, nothing would exist.

Interesting line of thought, but I think it hinges entirely too heavily upon wording. You can argue that there is a creator or that there is no creator. Even if there is no creator, however, that does not mean that life wasn't created. If life was created through random and/or chaotic events, then it could be brought into existence without an "intelligent" creator. Thus evolution could exist without a creator.

What do you think?

How could there be random or chaotic events if the events were not created?
Even cells in a multicell organizm create byproducts and such. would a cell just randomly/chaotically appear, Creation notwithstanding?
What would it evolve from if nothing was created?

That's an interesting approach to providing a "proof" for creation. Unfortunately, you've attempted to link two completely unrelated topics and in the process defied all logic.
