Barack Obama Denied Security Clearance

The usual suspects are here touting a story from a blog again.

Yet when nothing happens and it turns out false, no one will remember this false story and the false rumors spread, and no one will remember the people that continue to do it on this board.

You people ruin intelligent conversation.

Obama will get a security clearance.

What he will not get is clearance to much sensitive Need To Know information.

Bill Clinton did not get as much top secret info as ether of the Bush's.
The Bush I was CIA Director so he had a very high level clearance. plus need to know that he already had from his time with the CIA.
Bush II would have had a clearance higher then Obama would ever get because he served in the military plus because of his fathers clearance,

The need to know is controlled by the agency that the information belongs to.
With all CIA info the clearance level of a CIA classified document is set by the CIA.
With all DOD info the clearance level of a DOD classified document is set by the DOD.
With all NSA info the clearance level of a NSA classified document is set by the NSA.
With all FBI info the clearance level of a FBI classified document is set by the FBI.

No agency can change another agencies information clearance levels or document classification level.
Even the president can not order a agency to change the clearance level on a classified document.

What Obama is going to run into is not a problem with a security clearance.
they will use his "need to know" against him.
The thing Obama will never know is what to ask for.
because the fact that the information exists will be kept from him unless he has the NEED TO KNOW.
