Hi,
Wondering if there is official policy on ATS about the threads on Alternative Breaking News about threads which are started about a news story / topic after one has already been established earlier on in the day.
If someone could please point me in the right direction - i would much appreciate it.
Thank you.

yes, there is a policy.
there is a " thread alert " button above the opening post. use that to alert mods and they will take care of it.

We usually allow one thread in a "breaking" forum, and another thread in a "non-breaking" forum, to stay open. I think it's a good idea if each thread also has a link to "the other thread" (if it exist) and perhaps also links to similar or related threads on ats/bts.
