The UN has voiced concern over the finding over nuclear related documents found in an iraq scientists home

news.bbc.co.uk...

looks more likely that Bush and blair ( or perhaps Blush for short) will get their UN mandates and the excuse for war they need

Ahhh come on the US is just a bunch of liars out for oil....Iraq is innocent. Those documents are older than dirt and they were accounted for in their 12,000 page declaration.

MT69, you seem to speak as though you are aware of the Iraqi declaration. Perhaps you'd like to educate us further as to its content.

You said: "Ahhh come on the US is just a bunch of liars out for oil" I would ask you why this concerns you. As it stands, the U.S. economy, and indeed most country's economies, rely on a consistent flow of oil. What is inherently wrong with removing a madman from control over a significant portion of the world's oil supply?

Lemme see..."We have no weapons of mass destruction within the borders of Iraq."

Listening to reports this morning its seems odd that the UN atomic commission are expressing worry over this if its all so innocent. It is most likely the circumstance under which they found not just that the document exists. Found hidden in an Iraqie scientists home would seem to suggest that he may of been working on this from home to develop these weapons within an extented Iraq WMD programme

He's probably found a way of converting his toaster into a bomb making machine

lol toaster bombs

MT69 this report is taken from one of todays newspapers in response to the age of the documents

Although UN officials say that they have no comment to make at present on the documents found at the scientists' homes, a Western diplomat closely involved with the investigation into Saddam's nuclear capability yesterday confirmed that the documents showed that Iraq was still attempting to develop its own atomic weapons.

"These are not old documents. They are new and they relate to on-going work taking place in Iraq to develop nuclear weapons," the official told The Telegraph.

"They had been hidden at the scientists' homes on Saddam's personal orders. Furthermore, no mention of this work is made in the Iraqi dossier that was submitted to the UN last December."

make what you will of it

The fact that you believe such a statement is odd. Do you not notice that this statement also holds open the possibility that Iraq does indeed have weapons of mass destruction?

Your duality is confusing. In some threads you support the attack of Iraq... yet here you seem to believe their statements.

Winston Smith - My post was sarcasm, not support of Iraq. If you believe Iraq and not the US...then you have some major problems.

moonclamp - Trivializing inspectors finding nuclear weapons documents in a scientists home as some toaster bomb shows your lack of intelligence.
