Requiring service? I was pretty sure he said that if you voluntered and spent so many hours, the governemnt would insure you go to college.

While I think highly of volunteer service, evidence suggest that the Obama view wants/wanted mandatory service.

Giving a 3% tax increase after $250,000 is hardly the highest tax's ever paid in this country.

To specifically tax success and personal independence with the intent to give checks to those unwilling to obtain the same is un-American, no matter who the idea comes from.

Obama and the fairness doctrine.

He may have orally opposed it, but again, his actions speak for themselves. Do you honestly think that with a democratically controlled congress he would veto the re institution of the Fairness Doctrine?
