I spent thirty three years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street.

I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents. ~ Smedley Butler

Who is Smedley Butler? Wikipedia entry here.

He also wrote a book on his experiences and views. The following link, links to a few sample chapters as well as a link to buy a copy of his book, which is a good and quite educational read, as you get to see the inner mechanics of the military from a longtime reputable insiders perspective.

I really respect General Smedley Butler for his role in exposing the plot business men had started putting together to overthrow FDR in the 1930's. That took a lot of courage to seemingly go along with the plot while gathering enough information about the people behind the plot to take to Congress and law enforcement. What is even more amazing about his role in exposing this plot was that he, General Smedley Butler, didn't favor a lot of what FDR was doing to try to help the country out of the depression. In fact, he opposed a lot of it almost as much as the bussiness men who he exposed for plotting to overthrow FDR. At least General Butler respected the Constitution and election process of the U.S. to refuse to actually be a party to the plot.

I'd put it that not only is war a racket but those that support and participate in it are racketeers! The Commander-in-Chief, the upper echelons of military and the foot soldiers. No excuse these days for ignorance (or so called patriotism), and the recent excuse from an ex-military friend recently of “I only joined to get a trade’ just doesn’t wash. Its not like your working as a carpenter for Barclays or Citigroup!

One question though of Smedley Butler, at what point did the man see that what he was doing or did was wrong, the first campaign the second the fifth? I’ll have to wait until amazon delivers his book?

Anyway, yes we all contribute to the NWO elite through our deference but there is a major difference between this and joining ANY army. These wars never happen just out of a dispute between two people unless they are the pawns of the NWO elite!

From War is a Racket

"Take our own case (the USA). Until 1898 we didn't own a bit of territory outside the mainland of North America. At that time our national debt was a little more than $1,000,000,000. Then we became "internationally minded." We forgot, or shunted aside, the advice of the Father of our country. We forgot George Washington's warning about "entangling alliances." We went to war. We acquired outside territory. At the end of the World War period, as a direct result of our fiddling in international affairs, our national debt had jumped to over $25,000,000,000. Our total favorable trade balance during the twenty-five-year period was about $24,000,000,000. Therefore, on a purely bookkeeping basis, we ran a little behind year for year, and that foreign trade might well have been ours without the wars.

It would have been far cheaper (not to say safer) for the average American who pays the bills to stay out of foreign entanglements. For a very few this racket, like bootlegging and other underworld rackets, brings fancy profits, but the cost of operations is always transferred to the people – who do not profit."

Now think of ANY war contrived and executed in history even when the account is written by the 'Victors'.
