Obama wants 'civilian security force'

All I can say is-WOW. What this guy is saying here is a littkle scary

I can think of a couple of other great world leaders who had "civilian security" forces.....

1. Adolf Hitler- The SS, The Brown Shirts, and The Hitler Youth League

2. Saddam Hussein- He had the Repulican guard and the Fedayeen Saddam

3. Not sure If this counts but Russia's KGB strike's me as a "civilian security force".

This was recorded back in July of this year and the San Francisco Chronical just released it recently. It is peculiar why this hasnt surfaced earlier in the campaign. I bet If McCain or Palin made these kind of remarks the media would have been all over it instantly.............Good Luck voting!!!

I don't know about the Barry Soreto thing. I did find it interesting that behind him are what looks like a bunch of vets in the background. Was he reffering to the DHS maybe??

The video is completely legit. Obama said it.

BUT what Obama is proposing is not AT ALL what the McCain loyalists are trying to slant it to mean.

He is saying we need to focus and invest in Ameri Corps, Peace Corps, Conservation Corps...and create an Energy Corps. All stuff we truly do need to invest more into, and less in the military imo He is using the collective description "civilian national security forces" to describe all of those.

Some people are only seeing 16 seconds of his speech which takes it COMPLETELY out of context. When you only see the 16 seconds it sounds like Obama is suggesting a bigger military, or a separate military. When he in fact is not suggesting either.
