OPEC slashes production; crude continues to tumble

Perhaps, if demand has been sliding, the game has been played well and demand is about to rise. Due to the local news in my area reporting the supply cuts, people are racing to the pumps around here to take advantage of the lower prices (pfft, low compared to what) around here while they can.

So demand will be rising again in this short term period as, at least locally, people are preparing for higher prices again.
