Webster Tarpley hints at the possible reason Colin Powell endorsed Obama, and it's not race related

It's an interesting perspective to say the least; nepotism regarding Powell's son Michael. From yesterday's Alex Jones show (start at 7:00):

Just thought I'd post this because the real reason for the endorsement may not be as simple as black and white (pun intended).

Peace

I didn't start at 7:00. I watched/listened to the whole thing.

That was veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery interesting.
I'm going to go listen again when I'm done commenting.

I don't know if I agree with Tarpley about Obama not winning.
Unless the polls are skewed due to Acorn weighting them somehow.
(don't know how)
Seems pretty clear Obama will win.

Powell taking care of his kid could have something to do with it.
That is an interesting possibility. Politics as usual.

So could the FACT that Powell got paid for his endorsement by getting
some kind of (TBD) advisory position in the Obama administration.

I read somewhere .. don't remember where ... a side by side comparison
of what Powell stands for (or stood for) and what Obama stands for.

They don't have much in common in the issues department.

Powell endorsed Obama for a position for himself.
And perhaps something for his kid.
And/Or, as I said before, it's a black thing.
(yeah, yeah, the truth of that is disgusting. Deal with it
)

It certainly isn't a 'we share a stand on the issues' thing.

Tarpley has an eloquent way of putting things into perspective and usually rises above the inherently obvious. While I may not agree with everything he has to say regarding Obama, he does make one think, even from the neutral position I always try to keep.

Peace

** BUMP **

I'm going to go ahead and bump this thread, and then type two lines of yakity yak so as not to get a warning.

This was a good find ... interesting and important stuff about how it's politics as usual in DC and in this POTUS race. So I'm bumping it ..

There’s something about Tarpley that’s really strange. I listen to his radio show every week and he certainly has something of a leftist bent, but from a very different point of view. He seems to be a Russophile and his main problem with ‘barky’ as he calls him is his Brzezinski connection and so his assumed enmity to Russia. There’s something about Tarpley that I don’t fully trust, but I always pay attention to what he has to say.
