I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending MY MONEY than I would.

O RLY?!
LOL! All I need to say is "Bahhhhh Bahhh"

Please find the nearest 6 foot hole and bury yourself

HA!! Jokes on you! If you had read the whole thread you would see that LiquidMirage was using a bit of sarcasm to make his/her point. Again you resort to the death of another person rather than to participate in the discussion at hand.

Maybe you need a big group hug and a good cry.

Republican? Hardly, Government all together is flawed.

MY preception of government is slavery. No different then when blacks were slaves. I am not racist and I believe everyone is being deceived.

Im sorry you feel different (if you do) but denial is always the most probable outcome when confronted with facts

Hmmm, a threat.

I guess I get to use that Alert button today.

Cry more please.

It was not a threat. If it was a threat I would have been more creative.

I dont need to read posts to see the stupidity in this society.

As to your "my ego is bigger then your Ego" comments to me, your Ego is bigger then mine.

In fact, I will pardon myself form this thread.

Happy?

First you are for leaving the thread and now you are against it. I'm confused. Speaking of Eggos.

SRSLY though, out of curiosity, who are you voting for? Oh and I agree we are screwed, but my selfish self-preservation instinct is kicking in and I fear the decline will be more rapid with McCain than with Obama.

Yes, of course he is part of the problem.

But in my case, I'm trying to choose the lesser of two evils.

As I stated, I'm not happy with either choice.

Thank you buddha! Since you are a big liberal democrat here on ATS I'm very glad to see you add to each of these items and admit your true views, no matter how twisted they are!

Be specific. Do you think that mathematical expression 25>3 is twisted in any way? Or that basic research, defense and infrastructure need to be paid for? Or that study after study finds that Americans on average are worse off, in terms of health, than citizens of other developed countries?

You see, my views are true to the facts, and your are faith-based.

Boy oh boy

This really is the very essence of ignorance!

By “faith based” I take it you have made the uninformed conclusion that I am a bible banging hick.

Let me tell you, I am one of the least religious you will EVER find! But it’s nice to know that some people who claim to be “based on facts” wear their ignorance on their sleeve.

Next, I am a research chemist. My career depends upon federal (and corporate) dollars. Do you really think I am against research now that you ARE informed? Your conclusions and accusations are, once again, ignorant.

Furthermore, you will not find anyone that is bigger on defense issues than me. Liberals, however, consistently whine and moan about defense, military, and the ever evil “military industrial complex”. I guess they don’t care about the millions of jobs that put roofs over people’s heads and food on their family’s dinner table. Maybe they do, maybe don’t.

Now, let it be said that what I do have a problem with is liberals and their “redistribute the wealth” agenda. You and Obama, and any other socialist liberal, have no right to reach into my pocket and take what you will only to leave me with what you tell me I may have just so you can secure the minority and the trailer park vote. And that is exactly what it is, securing (by means of purchase) votes to ensure political victory. Unfortunately, the people that fall for their dribble are happy only with promises and no delivery on those promises. There is decades of proof to that effect. That says allot about the modern democrat parties base!

Just to make it clear, libs have been pushing the “redistribute the wealth” agenda long, long, long before Joe the Plumber came along.

Well hell, wildbob, you should just vote for me then because I have absolutely NO political experience. I would be great for the country...actually I probably would be, but alas I am too young. That, and I don't want to have to deal with crooks and liars on such a frequent basis; I try to associate myself with good people.
It amazes me when people complain about Palin having very little experience because she is 'a heartbeat away from the presidency'; is everyone blind? do you not see that Obama has little experience as well? (yes I know he was in the state senate...a job so difficult he was able to teach constitutional law at the same time) But he is running for the presidency, not VP...he is a mere vote away from the presidency! Can no one else see this, or is the wool which has been laid ever so carefully over your eyes obfuscating reality?
It is also a shame that the people have been given only two real candidates, or maybe it is more of a shame that we accept this as fact because 'that's the way it has been as long as I remember'.
Back to the topic at hand, I agree with what the OP said one hundred percent! That is EXACTLY why I am voting democrat! (Now where is the little zombie smiley to add after this last statement?)
Thank you for the good laugh with this...I really need something to lift my spirits given the way this election is headed.

For all those acting like the Reps aren't into "socialism", what about the bail out plan? What about quite recently when McCain was saying richer people could afford to pay more and that middle class workers needed tax cuts? The Republican socialist argument is a smoke screen, the only reason they are drilling it into your head is because people are dumb enough to believe it, and forget the statements McCain made before he became the Republican nominee and Obama started leading in all the polls.

If you aren’t voting for a Democrat because you fear socialism you shouldn’t be voting for a Republican either, neither in our recent history has been anti-socialism (actions speak louder than words) and only one of those parties lies their asses off about it.

It's clear from the Liberal postings that they do live in an altered universe. They bend, twist, invert facts and conveniently forget important points of contention. The are truely from the outer limits.

One interesting point is their crying out that Gov. Palin has a lack of experience, yet their presendential candidate has even less. Also, Obama that was born a Muslim and who's dad is a Muslim as well as his step dad and that has to make to wonder. Then he spends 20 years listening to anti-American and anti-white sermons. Then his political is started by a Anti-American terrorist Bill Ayers.

Is he a smooth talking terrorist, closet Muslim or socialist? You really have to wonder. He's got the Liberals fooled. I hope it doesn't end up that all of America turns out to be the foolish ones.
