Why I am voting Democrat!

I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending MY MONEY than I would.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. All profits are evil and should be confiscated for Government Redistribution.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that MORE Government regulations and higher taxes on Business will stop Business from exporting their jobs to Countries with LESS Government regulations and lower taxes.

I hope that your post is one of sarcasm and not of your true belief ... it's pretty frightening that I'm not even able to determine your tone.

I guess that's about all I can say until you reveal if these are your actual thoughts.

I believe you forgot to add a few lines to make your points stronger. I'll do it for you:

...because I personally wouldn't support infrastructure, defense, basic research and disaster preparedness; who cares?

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that MORE Government regulations

...to avoid the runaway lunacy of deregulated banking sector which put us all in the toilet.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe terrorists should have the same rights as ordinary American citizens. They should be allowed to have trials in American courts.

...because there is only one justice.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe in a FREE government health care system

...which is an excellent idea as is evidenced in European countries where the health conditions of the populations are much better than in the US despite our mammoth spending on medicine.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe in and support trial lawyers, frivolous lawsuits and outrageous jury verdicts

...because it's the price of ensuring liberty and justice for all.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe illegal aliens deserve all the rights of ordinary Americans plus some additional rights Americans do not have.

Wait, you lost me here. Why are you posting McCains stupid ideas under the Democrat moniker?

I’m voting Democrat because I believe we need to rid ourselves of dependency on foreign oil, but I am against offshore drilling

....which is bull created to deceive sheeple, with our total reserves being 3% of global and us consuming 25% of all oil, so the numbers are out of whack.

I started to respond to each of these things one by one, but then I stopped.

You have to be joking right? This is sarcasm isn't it?

And finally, I’m voting Democrat because I believe Reverend Wright when he said “GODDAMN AMERICA” and “OUR CHICKENS ARE COMING HOME TO ROOST”.

If I remember correctly, Wright's statement was in reference to 9/11 which was in fact caused by America's terrible foreign policy, and the seeds we planted years ago.

It was not an unprovoked attack, hence yes, as the saying goes, the chickens came home to roost.

I'm voting Democrat because there is not another viable ticket to prevent the GOP contract on America from finishing their grand plan of selling America to the highest bidder. Many in the Bush administration have been traitors.

Sarah Palin being one heart attack from the presidency should keep every patriotic American from voting the GOP ticket into office. That and the last eight years have brought America to its knees.

Vote GOP? You must be crazy or anti-American.

That’s right! I agree with you 100%!

What we really need to straighten us out is yet another product of Ivy League snobbery! To hell with those low life commoners!

It's unfortunate that people are agreeing with the things that have been listed here.

These examples to vote Democrat are some of the most extreme, hateful things I've ever seen. And there are those here who agree with them wholeheartedly.

This is very revealing.

I seriously believe that most career politicians are scoundrels. So, I believe that we should vote out all incumbents. The longer a politician has been in office the more corrupt he/she is.

With that in mind, I won't vote for McCain. To me, he represents more of the same old gang.

I'm not to fond of Obama, because he is too much of a Socialist for me, but right now, he is my choice.

Why?

He will bring change to the executive office. He will make new appointments. It will take time for them to become as corrupt as those that are currently in office. Then, it will be time for change once again.

Remember, if you vote for an incumbent they are the ones that created and/or went along with all the things that are wrong here in the US right now. They have more money and will say that they stood against all the things that are wrong but they are lying.

How can you tell when a politician is lying?.... His/her lips are moving.

Sarcasm is a beautiful thing....

And, don't forget....life in America is always wonderful when the same party controls the White House, the Senate, and the House.

I mean, with leaders like Obama, Biden, Reid, and Pelosi, can America go anywhere but up???

Guess what? Obama is a Senator. Doesn't that make him an incumbent?

Or because he voted 'present' rather than committing himself on a position that makes him O.K.?

McCain has a history of not following his party which is why Republican's were not pleased that he was their nominee.

Obama has a history of being as far left as anyone can possibly go.

Based on that alone, it's clear that Obama may bring change but it will be to the extreme left and that is the kind of change that will really ruin our country.

I NEVER agreed with the points wholeheartedly. I think the first post was made by a GOPer having a bit of fun and employing a healthy dose of sarcasm. What I said I meant. What I didn't say I didn't say.

What we really need to straighten out our country is people putting country first instead of corporate, military industrial complex and toxic support of Israel and other twisted regimes.

Yes, I’m quite sure democrats had absolutely nothing to do with the problems we are facing now.

Those poor defenseless democrats have just been along for the ride over the past 8 years, especially the past 2 years, right?

If only we would have listened to Dodd, Frank, Pelosi, Reid, Rangle, Obama, and all the rest of those democrats that fight ferociously for the little guy….

It was all those EEEEEVillllllll republicans! Muh Ha Ha HA

Deny ignorance, not embrace it!

I kind of like Obama and Frank but the rest you mention are horrible. There's some good Democrats and a Ron Paul is a good Republican. Are there any more? I don't know because no one talks about them. The Bush administration mislead both Dem and GOP. Congress should have been much more resistant to the trashing of the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Congress for six of those years was GOP lead. Please don't tell me that you expected the situation to turn around in two years.

You bet your ass I will deny ignorance. NO FREE RIDES.
