The actions of the Federal Reserve will ultimately destroy the US economy.
Flood the country with billions and trillions of newly printed money and you de-value what's already in circulation.
This linked article says it better than I can.

Open your eyes America... no, better open your minds before it's too late.
It may already be too late.

no, the Fed is not printing billions. That would be to expensive (paper, ink , printing process etc) , they just create the money in electronic version (well, this means a number in the computer) .Today it did work as the US stocks recovered half of the loss from last week. The final result will be the recovery of the Financial market, but with the decrease of the value of the $ and the purchasing power of the Americans or whoever uses us $.. Europe did the same today , so yes the value of the £,$,Euro etc will go down with several percentages.

One of the interesting things in this crisis, is how they go about fixing it. We see that they at this time need america to continue, and will let it bleed to death slowly.

Throwing the kitchen sink at the problem, and you see the result today in the dow, which just shows you how fickle the markets are. I just wonder if government backing is the last resort or do they have more ways of stopping the crisis, that we have not seen.

Everyone should be interested in what effect all this money in the west will do to there economies, with inflation or opposite.

The Euro, USD and Pound sterling are three big global currencies. If they keep devaluing to the level of other large currencies, it will be easier to implement a larger global currency.
It might be a possibility in the future but if these currencies keep devaluing, it will become even more of a serious problem for the western economy then the banking crisis.

I've been saying this since September and even called Washington Mutual's collapse 2 weeks ahead of time but no one listened:

Dermo, they have agreements to devalue their currencies, but they are going to devalue them all EQUALLY so that there isn't huge inflation.
