What was the Philadelphia project? I remember seeing a 70's film a few years ago about a nuclear aircraft carrier travelling back in time to WW2 and
almost being forced to save Hawaii from the Japanese. They referred to the philadelphia project then.
The Philadelphia Experiment, from... ummm... mid 1980's? It starred the guy from Eddie and the Cruisers. The movie doesn't correspond too
well with the actual events, though.

The movie you are referring to was The Final Countdown with Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen.
It was a pretty crappy movie IMO.
