The Fed IS a privately owned bank. Last time I checked, it's real ownership is top secret due to national security. How very very appropriate, after all it's best not to know whos ripping you off.

After reading this you'll pretty much be able to guess tha ownership of the Fed and a connect the dots on a hell of a lot more international affairs.
