The assasination of that cute little man in the wheel chair couldn't have happened to a more deserving person if he is the inspiration for the many suicide bombers in Israel.
The thought of him being blown to bits with only his head bouncing down the street gives him a similar fate to the misguided fools he sends to die for Allah.

Comments anyone?

I think since it will only fuel the killings...it was just another pointless human death/murder.

Perhaps you don't grasp the power of martyr.

The assassignation not only gave the cause of Yassin legs, it gave him wings.

This is the prelude to escalation plain and simple; not peace.

I think Rantisis says what the results of this will be in his own words, "By God, we will not leave one Jew in Palestine. We will fight them with all the strength we have. This is our land, not the Jews." :shk: I think things will only get worse there.

rant made an excellent point. Israel martyred Yassin, which was a goal he had anyways, it strenghtens the Palestine resolve.

Actually, there is a story in the news about babies of Yassin popping up everywhere.

Hospitals Report Crop of Ahmed Yassin Babies

It was a pointless killing that only made things worse. Bad move Isreal...

Seeing how the terrorists need no incentive to blow up buses, I don't see any downside. In the past, it has been shown that they do understand a strong response. I doubt surgically striking one leader is strong, though.

Yeah, if you're gonna kill 'em, be serious about it. I wouldn't have been satisfied unless there were atleast 100 dead...

What I'm curious about is, the fact that some Palestinians interviewed said that Israel would have never done that without the approbation of the U.S., while the U.S. claim it had no knowledge of these attacks before it happenned.

What do you think? We're they aware it was going to happen?

Do you think Arafat is next?

What I don't get is that instead of people celebrating the death of a terrorist, far worse than Osama Bin Laden, they are protesting and rallying against ISRAEL! WTF? If America was to do the same thing to Osama, people would hold parties for a month straight, Israel does it, and people want to kill the Irael people! People rally in NYC against the Israel people. WTF! I don't get how they can go against killing terrorists!

And the Israel response to the Palestinians saying they will rain hell on them? "What would be the difference?"

If I could cry I would, that is the most beautiful response someone could have made, thank you James the Lesser. Baldie thinks your 100 percent correct.

Oh well the bastard is rotting in hell. When do you think the Israelis are going to say enough is enough and start genocide against the Palestinians?

Thanks Agent, don't cry, you a man, no one famous in sports is retiring or dead, and you didn't just lose a world class trophy Bass cause your fishing line broke, lol.

Also, to Freedom Fighter, doubt they wil commit genocide. They had it done to them, doubt they would do the same. They may rain hell fire and Tomahawk Cruise Missle Brimstone on them, but won't commit genocide.

Israel came right out and said that they told no one of their plans, especially the US. Many US politicians and WH officials condemned the attack. With stability in that region the way it is, the US would have never openly condoned that attack. (If the US knew and what was said behind closed doors is anyone's guess)

HAMAS also claimed that they have no intent of attacking the US. They claimed that they only want the Israelis out.

Not the smartest move that Sharon and the IDF have pulled. They turned the HAMAS leader into a maryter. He is now far more powerful in death than he ever was in life.

Plus, the vision of the frail old man in the wheelchair really does not look good politicaly. Even if he was the one calling the shots.

They basically have poked a hornet's nest with a stick. It is going to get real ugly, real soon.
