LaRouche on Bailout: "This Is Straight-Out Fascism"

...say what you will about the man about his crew, although they've done the work on economics, specifically with the mortgage situation for years leading to current crisis:

Lyndon LaRouche today warned Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson that his bailout scheme, particularly its demand, in Section 8, for absolute dictatorial decision-making powers over all aspects of the trillion-dollar bailout, "is straight-out fascism. And the American people will never tolerate this.'' LaRouche candidly added, "The American people are being screwed, and they shall not take it kindly, I would hope.''

Indeed, more than 30 years ago, Lyndon LaRouche warned about the dangers of "fascism with a democratic face,'' and singled out the David Rockefeller interests as the chief American architects of this fascism.

This action by Bernanke's Fed is flagrantly contrary to the intent of the Constitution. It is fraudulent and illegal, and whoever goes along with this latest swindle is going to pay, particularly when the American people get wind of what has been done.

The citizens will back up the Congress, if the Congress finds the guts to reject Paulson flatly, demanding a proceeding in bankruptcy first, before any Federal assistance to bankrupt entities is considered.

If the Congress does not have the guts to do that, then the present Federal Constitution and what it represents, is nullified. If that happens, a New Dark age for the planet is virtually guaranteed for delivery in short order.

Government control of the countries financial sector, control over the housing market. Government deciding it knows more than we do what's best for ourselves.

Sounds more like socialism to me.

The government isn't corporate controlled. It's the government who is now going to own the corporations.

But in fact you got an Corporate company now after you bailed out those companies, how do you think they will keep on exist if your Government dosnt apply to the guidelines the Corporate leaders sticks out.

So actually whats happen is that your Government bought a private company to run it´s business, and its even an ill company they bought...

Not looking good, imo.

Best regards.

Loke.

I beg to differ. Every appointee, every policy composer, every single 'think-tank', all corporate. FDA, FCC, FTC, EPA, DHS, NIH, FEMA, all corporate led and to a great degree corporate-manned. With ever increasing focus on "outsourcing" and "contracting" - all their studies are done by groups of corporate contributors, all political activity is largely corporate funded and supported, the entire media machine is corporate driven.

The line is so blurred as to appear that the 'government' is buying the corporations, but all along the FED (a corporate entity empowered over the people) has been orchestrating it. By creating an emergency forcing the government to 'buy in' the FED can exercise more 'invisible hands' control still.

It's time to call a spade a spade. We need to stop pretending that the congress, senate, executive and judicial branch's haven't been utterly overtaken by corporate interest and influence. It is the very nonsense that got us where we are today, believing that these people would hold to their oaths of office and actually do what the American public expected them to do.

I was always wondering why the brain trust which was responsible for the near collapse of our agricultural base was moved into the SEC when the Bush administration took over. Now I know.

What is more "Fascistic"? The horrible monstrosity Obama and the Dems got passed, or the fact that the LaRouchites want single-payer health-care? Using Lyndon LaRouche's own ideals, where do these fall on the fascists scale? (Take note I truly believe LaRouche and his followers to be a political cult. I deal with many of the topics that make them such in my post, "LaRouchites In The SCV [from UFOs to KGB death squads-Democratic Nuts]") Truly a cult, from brainwashing, Antisemitism, re-writing history, murder, to crime, etc. etc, these guys are wildly varied and definitely cultic.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

LaRouche is a nutbar, but he occasionally makes sense, which every successful con man or lunatic leader does.

Fascist/socialist whatever. When the boot's on your neck, does it really matter if it's on the right foot or the left one? Deciding what to call it is a near irrelevant semantic two-step.
