Interesting article on planet collision, science has located what they thought was a single planet with a large amount of stardust surrounding it, turns out it is where 2 planets actually collided. Could it happen to earth?




"Astronomers have never seen anything like this before; apparently major, catastrophic, collisions can take place in a fully mature planetary system."
