Candy Bar has Lead

That sucks. I love candy. But supposedly a Mexican candy bar, chaka chaka, has high levels of lead in them.

I'm never buying a mexican candy bar again ever! This bad. People are going to get sick. Maybe they are trying to get rid of the people who eat to much candy.

There are also a number of folk medicines that contain lead and mercury.

Well, that explains alot of the stupid kids and MTV.

but who exactly eats mexican candy on a regular basis? I have never had mexican candy, and while this doesn't suprise me, I don't see this being major news in the USA either? Our media is too biased to print something of this major importance other than a short one day printing, with no further probing

Anybody who likes Chaka Chaka bars probably already ate paint chips as a child anyway, so what's the harm in a little more lead?

WTF is a Chaka Chaka? The article says apple pulp and chili powder? I'm open to new tastes, but that just sounds like an abomination. Has any of you ever eaten one of these things?
