An opportunity to be part of ATS history and make a difference!!!
Justin Case, one half of the Above Politics show has only gone and got himself a prime time, 5 day a week radio gig, so I need to find a new co-host for The Above Politics Show.
As we need to keep the balance of the show, this opportunity is ONLY open to North American ATS members.
You will need to be able to commit to the production of a weekly show, including preparing and scripting of the show.
So if you want this gig or to know more, either u2u me or email me at
martin@theabovepoliticsshow.com
*** You have until 12 Noon ET Saturday 6th September 2008 ***

kinda leaves me out
I hope you make a great pick, Good luck Justin Case! We will miss you!

Ohhh, solid choice! The Vagabond would make an excellent addition to the show.

I can't believe my name actually came up on this one, but I'm freakin HONORED that a couple of our prolific politically-minded members would think of me as a potential candidate for this.
Needless to say I'm jumping at this.

The Vagabond is an excellent choice for a replacement.
I love your show, Martin, though I am a lurker in the political realm.
The Vagabond would be a great addition...

Yes, the Vagabond would be a great choice. Unless you have a nasal, monotone voice that is
Just kidding.

How would you feel about a cajun accent and tourette's syndrome? (I have neither, I'm just curious).

Seems a unanimous decision to me. I think that The Vagabond is a shoe in for the job and from reading his posts I can't think of a more qualified person for the position.
PTS MIX is an awesome show. I love it and I can't wait to hear it

Well if my stock is really this high, how bout you guys all move to California and I just run for Governor instead? Rumor has it that the standards for that are getting incredibly lax... long as you dont try to smoke in the office.
Edit because I swear to God, I can spell the word "high" if I just put my mind to it.

I sent you a U2U, Martin. Included was the following ATS thread as a point of reference to political knowledge, as well as the popularity of it. I even submitted that to the ATS Mix.
Political Collusion of a President and Congress in Collapsing America, The Fall of the New Rome
Good luck to whoever gets the slot.

The Vagabond is an excellent choice, but there are other great choices. I would like to see
semperfortis
chosen as a stand-in for an occasional spot. He knows quite a bit about politics, as well as being a debate champion.
Matter of fact, why not select a panel, given there are several great choices?

SpatanKing would also be a great pick. His research skills are legendary. I would like to do it, but time is a bit tight now, and there are many others that would be better.
Good luck whoever is trying to get this position.

I used to listen quite often, but recently have been very busy with life. We will miss Justin, but I want to wish him the best of luck in his new venture.
Good luck, Justin! Don't let your success make you a stranger - make sure you keep in touch!

We need a female's point of view to balance out the above politics.
Fair Gender for the slogan "Drill Baby Drill"
Unfortunately I think too much like Imus.
