Amateur diplomat sought Nazi pact

news.bbc.co.uk

A British amateur diplomat tried to make a peace deal with Germany in World War II, National Archive files reveal.

Old Etonian James Lonsdale-Bryans travelled to Italy to meet German diplomat Ulrich von Hassell.

He proposed to him that Germany could have a "free hand" in Europe while Britain ran the rest of the world.

MI5 files released under the Freedom of Information Act show that security service officials knew of the Rome trip but did not try to stop it.

kind of find this desturbing, that someone tried to bargin with the Nazis in exchange for control of the rest of the globe
while they had a freehand in europe.

if this had gone to plan and he has succeeded what would it have meant for britain and the way the war would have changed?

This is not so surprising to me at all. Hitler wanted the British as an ally, that is no secret. It is also no secret that Britain played the role of "great appeaser" for some time. And then there is the enigma of Rudolph Hess. Hitler also had strong support in America. Charles Lindbergh, and Joe Kennedy to name a few. The latter and father of our future President was the American ambassador in London right up until the point it was clear that Germany would be designated an "enemy." Of course that didn't stop the likes of JP Morgan and the Bush family from maintaing strong ties with Hitler and the Nazis. Business as usual for many.

The rabbit hole leads straight into the NWO. You have just seen a glimpse of what is on the other side of the mirrored window. Hitler, Churchill, Roosevelt, all pawns to the true Kings. Did you ever ask yourself why Hitler made such obvious blunders as attacking Russia when he did? It's because he trusted the wrong person. Hitler was ultimately a sacrifice upon the altar of the NWO.

Agreed.
If you read Mine Kampf, Hitler writes deep admiration for the British Empire and discusses how Britain and Germany should build a coalition to defeat America in the 1980s.

What most people do not know is that the White House itself had been penetrated by the Abwehr (German intelligence.) Wether or not Roosevelt knew this is debateable, as is the allegiance of Admiral Canaris. So this may have been the "pipeline" for false information to play Hitler.

It might also be true that this agent was simply an open and direct line of communication behind the scenes and between the two "sides" to ensure that the war was carried out according to the plan of the real orchestrators. That even the agent's secret identity as an agent of the Abwehr was just another cover.
