Why?? I think too many high level people have testified that it is not crap at all.
It is healthy for people to discuss it and request disclosure on the subject. Why don't you give reasons for what you are suggesting we do?

Not gonna happen there is a huge crowd of UFO consumers looking for a fix for thier flights of fantasy.

Most of the UFO'ers seem to have lost touch with reality.

You should ask me sometime what they are like when you meet them.

I don't understand why you want to close a section of ATS that is such an integral part of the site.
I think of ATS as a sort of clearing house for everything UFO/Alien, it's one of the reasons I joined this site, and it's why I keep coming back.

Sure, I don't read every thread, and I do tend to pass judgment in the first few posts. I mostly don't reply to most of those threads, but I do find it very interesting reading and respect the members that take the time to research and present the data to us.

UFO and alien topics won't be going away anytime soon.

My apologies, OP. I typically let people rant away without argument because everyone is entitled to express or vent what bothers them. However, at this point I'm pretty tired of seeing sentiments like this around ATS. First of all, ATS is a conspiracy site and a site for believers to discuss alternative topics.

Where else should these people go!? I remain very skeptical about UFO's and aliens but at the same time, there is a reason why believers are here- ATS' theme! I'm not saying skeptics shouldn't be here because I am a skeptic too when it comes to that but at this point I want the believers left alone. The die hard skeptics can stroke their egos at JREF if all they want to do is balk. I might not believe in UFO's but I am not going to come to a site where that is included in the theme and tell people to give it a rest. If that is the case, then I am on the wrong site- not them.

Seriously. Don't go to a themed site then tell the members to give the theme a rest. They have every single right to discuss aliens and UFO's. They are exactly where they belong.
