'Star' system not working

I've not been able to star people for a few days now. I press the button & a star appears, but if I leave the thread & return it's gone. (No doubt about it, as some were 1st stars for a particular post.)

Also, I've just read that someone wanted to star a post of mine & couldn't.

If this is old hat I do apologize. Feel free to delete this thread!

I don't give that many stars out mate!

However, I have noticed recently that I have had to try two or three times before the star has been accepted.

You're right, that's what I noticed first too. But it took me aback to see that I star I'd given promptly disappeared. If I hadn't happened to go back to the same thread shortly afterwards I would never have noticed, as well. I didn't loose any sleep over it, but when I saw someone else say something about stars it jogged my memory.

(The 'Reply' button glitch is a bit of pain too, but I'm sure they must be addressing that issue.)
