Sorry Q. I didn't mean that YOU were over compensating by driving a GTO. I was just making a broad generalization.

I on the otherhand fully recognize that I AM overcompensating with the
450SL. When I chose to drive a gas guzzling, over powered, convertible, sports car, rather than my Honda civic; I must concede that the image I think I portray must be at least part of the reason. This could also be the
reason I wear designer shirts. I don't think that wanting to portray an image to the outside world is inherently a bad thing. On some level, all humans play some sort of a role, whether they are conscious of it or not.

Tough guy, victim, sport, goth, yuppie, or geek.










I think it must be akin to the strutting, preening, courting behavior exhibited by animals. Technology doesn't mean that we have left the animal kingdom completely.

We should celebrate our individuality or conformity, which ever the case may be. Live and Let Live!!
