I would to thank the President for his 7 1/2 years of service to this country.
I don't agree with the President 100% of the time, but here are my thanks to the President. History will treat you kind, Mr President. Your detractors will fade from memory.

Thank you for liberating Afghanistan.

Thank you for standing strong in Iraq, when others wanted to surrender.

Thank you for putting a dictator on trial for war crimes and receiving the final justice he deserves.

Thank you for not treating the White House as a brothel.

Thank you for putting the fear into Libya so that they gave up they nuclear weapons program.

Thank you for standing up to North Korea.

Thank you for doing actually something about Al Qaida other than firing missiles that take so long to get there the camps are empty by the time the missiles hit.

Thank you Mr President for working hard to get the economy going after 9/11.

Thank you for standing up for tax cuts.

Thank you for trying to make this country energy independent.

Thank you for trying to combat AIDS in Africa.

Thank you for trying to give the people who empty our trash and pick our vegetables some dignity, although I disagree with you about Amnesty.

Thank you for appointing justices to Supreme Court who believe in the US Constitution.

Thank you for trying to protect us against an enemy who wants to harm us while others would let it happen for political reasons.

Thank you for standing up for the unborn.

Thank you for resisting the pseudo science of global warming.

Thank you for your humility in office Mr President.

Thank you for your love of country and the love of the men and women who protect this country.

Thank you, Mr President.

This is not something you see everyday, humility. Star and Flagged for just being genuine.

Here come the wolves in 3...2...

boy did you call that one.

While I do not agree with MOST of what our president has done. I will show him the respect he deserves just for being in such a position where you are always on the defensive. It seems to me that no matter who is in the office of POTUS, he or she will always be criticized for every little thing that they do. If it were me in office and people were attacking me all the time, I would probably loose my cool and tell em all how it is.

So I guess thank you Mr. President for keeping a cool head and not telling America to F- off. Because thats what I would do.

Thanks for the list.

I think I've been misunderestimating his presidency all along.

I realize hating President Bush is the cool thing to do, just like anti-war protesting was popular during Vietnam. I realize it's trendy to blame all of my problems on the GWB, just like the Jane Fonda liberals of the 1960's and 1970's taught us to do (even though they abandoned all rhetoric after we left Vietnam and peace didn't magically happen, rather millions of the innocent were slaughtered). The libs want us to pull out of Iraq, now. If we did and millions of innocent civilians were slaughtered when a fascists regime takes over and peace doesn't magically occur, will they disappear into the night just like after Vietnam?

This thread puts it all into perspective. Liberals criticize and criticize, and the radically liberal media beats it into our brains until we begin to believe it's "cool" and "trendy," and after their policies fail (and they ALWAYS do), where are they to pick up the pieces?

When you actually highlight all of Bush's achievements, he actually has been a pretty decent president. He is no Republican by any stretch of the imagination, though. He's a hardcore tax-and-spend Democrat in many aspects, but I believe he's one of the good guys. When you compare him to people like Pelosi, Harry Reid, Teddy Kennedy, John Edwards, Elliot Spitzer, Barack Obama and the other sleazeballs comprising the modern day Democrat party, he's a saint

A so-so to a so-so president. He's hated now because we've been brainwashed to believe it's the cool thing to do, but 20 years down the road, history will exonerate him because his achievements will be highlighted...and there are actually some significant ones. Many of you may be hating GWB right now, but if B. Hussein Obama gets elected and the economy collapses under his insane policies, we lose individual freedoms thanks to his Socialist policies and gas prices and your taxes go through the roof thanks to his Marxist ideals, you'll be praying for GWB to return. Hell, you'd be praying for Jimmy Carter, the worst president in the history of the USA, to return to office

I lol'd at this entire post. Not because it was funny, but because it was so ignorant 100,000 dead enemies that were trying to kill us. Damn that president of ours. What ever happened to pride for your country? I guess it faded away when we became the Evil Nation of Conspiratorial Imperialism responsible for all the problems of the world. We're no longer the USA, we're the ENCI

Is that why people hate Obama because he wants change, like other people hate Bush for Iraq?

Both sides seem to have a one-dimensional view, then.

I don't live in America so I can't vouch for who or what is better, I'm just glad I don't have to.

Oh, I'd place a bet that there's much more than 100, 000 people on the planet that want to kill Americans now, especially since the crazy foreign policy that you've had under Bush.
