What's with Hotmail's problems?

Topic started on 14-3-2004 @ 09:00 AM by sanctum

This is how I check my mail. I go to webmail/inbox and
delete/purge spam etc. and then open my mail.
So earlier tonight I checked my webmail/inbox, (17 mess')
but four were from a family member dated Dec 2002!
Further, they were not addressed to me, and all the
att' were URL's. This persons poota is fully serviced
twice a year, he/she works for a large company.
Is this evidence(sp) of the ability to store MASSIVE
amounts of data for no reason, being that the URL's
were just normal 'stuff'. I just thought Huh... why are
those post's 15 months old and not addressed to me?

I don't have a hotmail add'. Never have.

Microsoft/Hotmail is having a glitch. I figured it would be fixed by now.

Here is a link to the story.

Sounds like a spammer captured some addy's, and spoofed the headers of the email that were mass sent.....

wondering...Were the contents of the email related to you, or not related to you?

Jeez, I had to laugh just now when I scrolled
to the top, and there was Billy. I didn't notice
until now!

smirkley,
The add's and URL's were not related to me. Just normal personal
surfing. No porn, just stuff.
