This subject has to do with the government tracking US citizens who are travelling abroad.
Are there any passport control agents here?
I was looking through my passport and noticed that there is an inbound and outbound visa stamp for every country that I've been to except for the US.
I just arrived back in the US after an extended stay abroad, and can't remember the procedure for when you leave the country.
Don't they just check to make sure you have your passport? I can't recall anyone recording any information from it.
Can someone who has left the country recently fill in the details for me?
If you don't go through passport control when you leave the US, does the US track when you leave the country and where you go? Do passport control
agents look at the countries you've been to and enter the dates/places into the computer? Any paranoid people on here that actually pay attention to
stuff like that?
