One thing that many kits do not contain is an eyewash cup. It is held in a seal around the eye and a flushing agent is allowed to contact the eye under the seal. This is one to ask the old timers about. You may need to go to an antique store and get a glass one. It should be boiled before use.

I have a small surgical kit and can work on damages. I put the severed leg back on a dog before. The joint was crushed but it was done right away and it healed after weeping for a couple weeks. with the joint gone it mended stiff but was still usable as a stiff leg.

You would be surprised what you can do if you have no choice.

Although, I have not included it in my kit. I do own an old fashioned blue glass eyewash cup which was previously my dads. A small dixie cup will work and also a small shot glass (whiskey).
