Imagine, you are in the desert fighting a war far from you family and friends. One night you are told that you are going on a mission to catch one of the bad guys in Iraqi. You invade a hut and outside notice a small carpet. You pull back the carpet, pull up the styrofoam and there in the hole is Saddam. What would you have done - taken him into custody or blow the SOB's head off?

I've often thought about the soldier who found him and wonder why he didn't just kill him. Has the military ever said anything about the actual soldiers who took him into custody?

Your thoughts...

I wouldn't have killed him, he is a nut, but he wasn't armed.

The soldier who found him did the right thing capturing him.

I would have done my duty and brought him in.

Buddy, we aren't fighting a war for our families and friends, we're fighting it for oil.
