The Status of 'Writer' Status

I was looking to participate in the collaborative writing forum so I sent a couple of U2Us to worldwatcher last week requesting writer status as per this thread:

I have not yet heard anything back so I was just wondering if you are still doing that or if there are any other qualifications I need to know about.

I'm just the opposite..........

I want my "Writer" title removed and returned to "Member".
I have no qualifications as a writer and don't intend to participate in any "Writer's Forum".

I do my own thing on the boards and don't want any specific classification.

Not sure how it happened... I was "Writer" at one time, and now I am "Fighter." What does all this mean and why have I been thusly labeled...?

The term, "fighter" refers to those who participate in debates here at ATS. The writer tag is for those who participate in the writers forum, (short stories, poetry, etc.)

I'm not sure why that would have changed unless you participated in a debate here and stopped participating in the writers forum.

Ah, thanks. [smile] Yes, I was in a debate, and will likely be in one again. Though I am unsure how I would up with writer at one time... I have written a bunch of stuff, but not for ATS. [shrug]

May I have an writer status, please? So I can "doff off" the old collar and make a pride filled sound like "Phmorph."
