Was the Cold War a coverup of ET?

When you think about it, UFO sightings and the Cold War began right around the same time (late 1940s), and declined a little after 1991 when the Cold War ended.

That's a theory - a plausible one at that. Whether or not it's true, I don't know. But it wouldn't surprise me.

As for the UFO sightings, I think in recent years they have actually been on the rise.

Right around the same time we *AHEM* procured nazi technology?

I agree - I would only add "someone or something to hate." Actually, I think we've been at war since at least World War II - WWII, Korea, Vietnam, War on Poverty, War on Drugs, War on Terrorism, Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan...we're always at war.
