COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- NASA's Deep Impact spacecraft has created a video of the moon transiting (passing in front of) Earth as seen from the spacecraft's point of view 31 million miles away. Scientists are using the video to develop techniques to study alien worlds.

Hi,
I am new to posting to this site, but an avid fan.
I thought you all would love to see the movie and pictures of the moon from the dark side.

There has been much speculation about life on the othe side of the moon. Well have at it!

Notice the weird patterns on the moon on the second video.

Just wish the images were much sharper.

That was very interesting to watch but unfortunately the quality is somewhat lacking as you already pointed out.

So now the question arises: Did NASA intentionally blur these images?
