this one goes out to all the political bobble-heads out there whom use "smarter than you" as a pretense for discrediting their opponents.

just a reminder that, ultimately, language is derived from usage. and that the end goal of language is communicating.

therefore: if a person does not make "correct" use of the term 'NeoCon'...it is WELL understood what is meant. communication has been achieved. stop with your petty pretenses.

usage dictates.

am i the only one that has observed this silly argument?

for those unfamiliar with standard usage:

Neoconservatism is a political philosophy that emerged in the United States from the....defection of some liberals to the right of the political spectrum; hence the term, which refers to being 'new' conservatives.

source: wiki

the argument goes that some "wacko liberal" will use the term NeoCon (intending the meaning of religious fundamentalist jerkoff), and then some "ditto-head" says smartly, "gee, i didnt know so and so used to be a liberal."

from henceforth, NeoCon shall also mean: religious fundamentalist pig-faced liar.

Hmm, could you elaborate on this?
I don't fully understand where you're heading with this...

Neither does he.

Perhaps this would be best suited for the BTS "rants" section.
