OK, now that we determines "who", "what" does this have to do with the topic?

"John McCain's chief economic advisor Phil Gramm is a failed pornography producer."

Go look at some of the Obama association threads and tell me they aren't full of McCain associations.

Its completely valid to bring up opponents associations when discussing how bad a certain association is to another candidate.

Plus, someone accused me of "being uneducated" about wrights comments. I only posted that video because it shows his comments in context.

Really? I'll note that.

My point is valid for both.

How did you come to this realization? We can post off topic now? I must have missed that memo.

No, it's not valid. "Topic"- Onelook dictionary:

"the subject matter of a conversation or discussion"

Note the word "the", singular. Anything else interjected is off topic.

Here's some interesting factoids about McCains possee

Wendy Gramm [Phil's Wife] has been a member of Enron's board of directors for eight years and of the crucial Audit and Compliance Committee as the giant company's financial condition was deteriorating.

And to make that even worse

McCain defends ENRON loophole

Its funny how the tides turn.

All those "naughty" things about Obama and his business relations for campaign contributions seem to be shared, 100%, with his counterpart, John McCain.

And now he's a porno producer.

Hilarious.

He is listed as a Producer for two soft porn flicks...

IMDB _ Phil Gramm

The first is titled "White House Madness", and the second is "Truck Stop Women".

It should be noted that the amazingly versatile Al Lewis was in the cast of "White House Madness."

The seventies were the years of risqué cinema and theatre.

I haven't seen this film, but I'm a little skeptical of the claim that it is in any way pornographic.

Skin is so prevalent in film and even television these days that my guess is that these films are tame by today's standards

He resigned as campaign, co-chair.

He says because of the "whiners" comment but that was days ago! I'm thinking they didn't want the porn connection to get too public.

It's election season, people!

First of all this post is misleading. Phil Gramm is no longer John McCain's chief economic advisor.

www.washingtonpost.com...

On Friday, McCain's domestic policy adviser, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, told Darren Gersh, a PBS "Nightly Business Report" correspondent, that Gramm is no longer giving advice to McCain or his aides on the economy. "I haven't spoken to Senator Gramm since the comments took place, and I'm not expecting to," Holtz-Eakin said.

Phil Gramm made the truthful comment "America is a nation of whiners", and in typical John McCain fashion, McCain rebuked yet another conservative supporter. It seems McCain would rather rebuke a supporter than to rebuke liberals.

That's true. He's no longer in the campaign at all. And it's supposedly all the Democrats' fault.

“It is clear to me that Democrats want to attack me rather than debate Senator McCain on important economic issues facing the county,” Gramm, McCain’s campaign co-chairman, said in a written statement. “That kind of distraction hurts not only Senator McCain’s ability to present concrete programs to deal with the country’s problems, it hurts the country.”

YEP! Did you ever stop to wonder why?

BECAUSE THIS STORY WAS ABOUT TO BREAK!!!!

Wake up McFly!

How sycophantic of you to rebuke someone for rebuking someone else in his party on valid grounds. You say that what Gramm said is "truthful"? That has got to be the most laughable thing I have heard all day. What he stated was a highly subjective opinion, any one knows that.

Maybe you should stop to think why

John McCain was picked BY conservatives to run for republican office.

Therefore, he is, for 2008, the embodiment of the conservative group-think. He's the "hive-mind" for this election, and you cant dispute it, because while you personally didnt pick Mccain - your party did. Not the MEDIA ... the republican party.

So if Mccain is saying conservatives have it wrong, and he's the head of conservative group think......maybe its time assimilate?

Resistance, as we're told, IS futile.

Legally churches can lose their tax exempt status if they involve themselves in politics... its not a tax, its the law and one that has been selectively inforced when at all.

Its all part of the separation of church and state.

Show the law that compels preachers to exclude political topics from their sermons. I'd very much like to see that.
