Hellboy review

Hellboyll:The Golden Army was certainly eye candy for aficionados of CGI.
But if you like strong stories, snappy dialog or actors that can act, perhaps you should wait for something a bit more grown up.

del Toro created a masterpiece with "Pans Labyrinth" but to me this was just a very high budget student film that almost any upperdivision film major could have created, given a huge pre/ post production budget.

It wasn't all bad; the troll Market scene was very cool, but not cool enough to warrant $18 plus popcorn and Cokes for two.

My date liked the film and she is a much more severe critic than I am, but she is not writing the review. I can only give Hellboy

I didn't think the first one was a great film.
But it definatly grows on you the more you see it.

Maybe number 2 will have to grow on you too.
Like the other one I'll wait till it shows on TV.
