Don E. Davis 'General Hammond' passes!!

Don Davis. was one of my favorites on the show 'Star gate" as well as in " twin peaks'
He will be missed!!

So Dana Scully's dad passes away for real this time.

The Canadian acting community is small enough so that the success of one of our own still thrills and inspires all of us. Don Davis was an actor's actor -- the kind that you watched even when the focus of action was somewhere else because he did such a great job of texturing his characters to give them depth, shading and substance.

He will be sorely missed and remembered with fondness and respect.

This is sad... I loved him in Stargate SG1 and Twin Peaks before that.

Oh no! I can't believe this, he was so amazing I LOVED him in Stargate SG1. This is just so sad, I only found this thread now and it's the first time I've heard about his death.

Ohh.. I absolutely LOVED him to BITS he was so amazing
